Hi! We are Connected Care.

And we are here to help you breach the linguistic and cultural gap between you and your Spanish speaking patients in medical documents!

But…who are we?

Daniela E. Obregón, CEO & Founder

My name is Daniela, and I started working as an interpreter in different medical institutions in the United States in 2014.

During that time, I had direct contact with patients, families and doctors in the palliative care area.

I loved the idea of easing the burden in the worst moment of these families’ lives by helping doctors get their message through with clarity and compassion.

I guess you know what I am talking about, right?

This project was born from my need to do something bigger with everything I had learnt during those years.

What could I do to further help patients understand and process the information they got? How could I help doctors to help these people with compassion and humanity without worrying about language barriers?

At first, Connected Care was just me, but it started to grow and I realized I needed extra help.

Today, Connected Care is a whole team of dedicated people who keep spreading the compassion I used to take throughout the hospital hallways when I just started.

And I share the command of this ship with Jeremy, my partner in life and business!

Hi! I’m Jeremy. I work side by side with Dani in this adventure of owning a business!

I’ve worked in customer service and management for 10 years before Connected Care.

I migrated from Argentina to the United States at the age of 20, where I lived for more than 15 years.

At the beginning, I faced the challenging task of communicating with people when there was a visible language barrier.

I decided to go to school to learn English as a second language, while looking for jobs where I could put into practice the language skills Iwas acquiring.

This was a step in the right direction for Connected Care, because I totally understand what it feels to have difficulties communicating with others!

My main tasks are to listen to the clients’ needs and find practical solutions to any concerns that may show up. I’m also the person who communicates on a daily basis with the rest of the team!

We make it together

In the medicine it isn’t just a matter of words. It is about understanding the patient’s culture, their family, and their needs. It’s about finding the right words in the right setting, for the right person.

Together with the team of linguists that help us with translations every day, we want to help you care for your Spanish speaking patients by keeping the touch of humanity you want to show despite the language and culture differences.
